Yesterday Hampson Hughes met with several members of the Walton Neurological Centre and other sponsors of their “home from home” project.
The project is to raise funds to build and kit out a specialist wing for the families of people who have suffered catastrophic brain and spinal injuries. The families are currently camping out at the hospital on recliner chairs when they are coming to care for their loved ones. This is a very distressing, tiring and emotional time for the victims and their families and it affects the whole family.
The charity are looking to raise £500,000 and yesterday we confirmed that Hampson Hughes would like to get involved in helping raise the money they require.
Our first event that we are getting involved in is a Zipwire challenge to take place at the Pier Head, Liverpool on Saturday 14th September.
